Product photography
It’s been a crazy month. Finally I’m able to update the blog with a few items. I’m shooting Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth from a helicopter which will be very cool. We’ll spend 3 hours in the air capturing images from different locations. Recently, I photographed a chiropractor’s outdoor office as well as some products for another client. I’m attaching an image for you to look at.
Portrait Shoot
After finishing up a very exciting photo shoot of electrodes for a sales brochure, I had a woman come in who spent several hours posing for a business portrait. We had a great time trying different poses and lighting ideas until we came up with several very flattering images. It was fun to have someone posing for the camera who understood basic modeling techniques so I could focus on shooting and lighting and not worry about posing. Hopefully she’ll be able to bring in some client who need portraits and we can do a shoot similar to this one.
Airplane photography
I photographed the interior and exterior of a small jet for a local company yesterday. The interiors were a little trick with lighting in such a small space, but my client is very happy with the results. Today I have a business portrait and some marketing work to get caught up with. Earlier this week I had a high school senior come in for his senior portraits. It was fun, he brought a ball glove and bat and we did quite a few poses in the studio and out in the park. Portraits portraits
This is the week of portraits for me. I started with a number of individual portraits at a client’s building today. Tonight I’m off to the Red Wing firehall for a group portrait of the fire department. Tomorrow and Thursday I have folks coming in for professional portraits at the studio. Friday I’ll change things up and be shooting electrodes for a manufacturer located in Lake City.
